Le Fiasco italien is a bottle with a rounded shape whose base is covered with straw, this bottle was designed in the nineteenth century by Melini to make the glass container stronger, but above all, it served as decoration in many houses!
This typical straw covered flask of Italian Fattoria di Sammontana is light-years away from the old Chianti bottles. This Chianti is organic, non-oaky and non filtered.
The vineyards of Fattoria di Sammontana are located along the hills that border the Arno River, in the community of Montelup in the Colli Fiorentini subzone, 20km to the south west of Florence. The fourth generation winemaker, has now started to implement some changes. Both the Chianti and Alberese have been certified organic from the 2012 harvest, and they are also doing some trials with biodynamics in some of their vineyards.

🍇 Sangiovese 90%, Canaiolo 10%
This Chianti is light, juicy and supple at first sight, it displays the scent of sour cherry and leather (characteristic of Sangiovese) with hints of flowers and spices. It leaves on the final a delicate sensation of astringency that opens the thirst. Offered in magnum, it will liven up your gatherings brilliantly.
