Any fan of Portuguese wines in here? Let me introduce you to a great value Portuguese wine produced by @quintadaalorna , a winery located in Tejo.

Quinta da Alorna combines a long tradition of wine growing and modern winemaking techniques. The estate was established in 1723 by D. Pedro de Almeida, viceroy of India and the 1st Marquis of Alorna. It has now the largest vineyard of the Tejo region (220 hectares), a wide variety of grapes and several nationally and internationally recognized wines. In 2013 the Winemaker of Quinta da Alorna, Martta Reis Simões, received the award of best young winemaker of Portugal by W Awards.

40% Castellan, 30% Graciano, 30% Trincadeira

Ruby color.  Aromas of ripe red fruits such as ripe plums, cherries and floral notes. Medium bodied wine with very smooth and round tannins. Long and pleasant finish with flavours of cinnamon, white pepper and blossoms.

A lot of complexity for that price range, this is the perfect wine for everyday!!

Thanks to @lbvinternational for providing the sample.

Have a great day everyone and don’t forget to drink more Portuguese wines
